Fermentation & Aging
Harvested on September 19, 2024, from the Stone Barn Vineyard located on the eastern side of downtown Sonoma, this organically farmed site is managed by Shaunt and Diego, whose careful work first provided us with fruit in the 2019 Magnolia Red Blend. The vineyard benefits from warm Sonoma Valley days tempered by cool nights, creating ideal conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon with both freshness and balance.The grapes were hand-picked, sorted carefully, destemmed, and fermented with indigenous yeasts. The wine was aged in neutral French oak barrels, allowing the vineyard character to shine. Over time in barrel, the wine developed layers of red and dark fruits, softened tannins, and a silky texture while retaining freshness.
